Why you should be a Professional Photographer
Being a professional photographer is one of the best jobs you can have. First, you can make your own business out of it. I think its better because you create whatever business you want and not be told on what not tp do and what you want to do. You can also make your own hours on working and also when you want to take days off. Also being a professional photographer lets you meet celebrities’ who doesn’t want to meet their idol and take a picture of them. Being a photographer you have to be active all the time. But taking pictures is so easy and fun. That’s why you should be a professional photographer.

Critique of Silver List Photography
Joshua Rashord McFadden really stood out to me because his photos seems to have a story behind. In some of his photos I feel as if hey are gloomy but then we see there are bright elements to each of his photos which in a way makes the overall photos stand out on its own would his website much stronger. It almost makes me feel as if he got laziness and just puts them all together instead of taking the time to put each on its own. As to his website formal, I would like to see each individual photo and not just like a slideshow.
Widline Cadet also stood out to me because we can see the simplicity of his photos and yet still see others more abstract that make me question what’s going on. For example some of his photo ae simple portraits of people and others seem to be more abstract that make me sit and wonder why these photos are arranged the way they are. His website does seem like there was effort and i like the way his photos are big and bold. Also while his pictures are big and bold, the website itself s simple which brings all attention to the photos themselves. Overall very simple but strong websites and photos.
Canon Lens Experience
The first article I read was the landscape article because I really enjoy looking and taking landscape photos. The pieces that Peter Tellone had on the site were really pleasing and interesting to look at. He talked about the lenses that he uses and why he uses them. I liked the fact that the author Grant Willing included the reasons as to why Tellone uses these lenses. Another thing that I found interesting was that Peter Tellone, the photographer, already has a vision in his mind in which he wants to create his images, so he uses the different lenses to help achieve his vision. One trick that I saw that he used was putting the camera on his shoe which helps capture the foreground very clearly and the background since the lenses that he uses have a variety of wide angles.
The second article was a documentation of an interview for portrait photography. It was very interesting to e because I also enjoy looking and taking portraits. The photographer, Gregory Heisler, explains how he is always having to catch up with the newest lenses/tech. He also tells us his favorite lenses and what lenses he chooses for different looks. I loved the fact that he also mentioned that he always shoots with a tripod so he can interact with his subjects. I noticed that he is his own critic to his work, which I feel like everyone should be their own critic at times. Overall, I enjoyed his work because it has very nice composition and the photos don’t just focus on his subject, but they also include background for nicer composition.
